2017 Programme

Now in its 28th year, Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival is back to throw open the doors of the city in celebration of Glasgow’s architecture, culture and heritage. Join us 11-17th September to get behind the scenes in some of Glasgow’s iconic historic buildings as well as working factories, breweries, theatres and more. With a whole new history, heritage and archaeology themed programme, featuring hundreds of open buildings, walks, talks, tours, exhibitions, special events and children’s activities, the city is yours to explore! Part of Scotland’s Festival of Architecture 2017.

The best way to find out what is in this year’s programme is to browse our e-brochure online, or pick up copy in print from any library in Glasgow (take a look at this map to find out where your nearest one is). Click here to view our children’s programme and look out for them distributed to primary schools in Glasgow.

The full programme of open buildings and events is also listed on the national Doors Open Days website, where you can browse through a complete list of walk-in and pre-bookable open buildings and events and save ones that you like.
